There have been 57 responses to the CAT survey, out of 70, so far. Very good indeed! That only leaves 13 of you who have not yet responded. There will be one final reminder on March 30. If you have already responded, ignore it and thank you. Since this is an anonymous survey, I have no way of knowing who has responded; therefore, the emails go out to everyone – kind of a pain, I know, but it’s all for the good of Saint Nicholas, which is a good thing.

We’ve received word from the Bishop’s and Trustee’s (B&T) committee that they are preparing to sell the vicarage. They are aware that this action removes a source of income for us – from rental of the property. Therefore, they are planning to pay us a monthly subsidy for 3 years to assist St. Nicholas as we grow. The subsidy starts at $900 per month the first year. This monthly payment will decrease in years two and three.

B&T plans to build a storage shed for us for the lawn tractor and garden equipment so we can empty the vicarage garage. This also means we need to move the Food Pantry. Plans are being made to clear out the storage room where the freezer is located to store food items and to prepare the northwest room in the Holy Innocents Hall for the pantry.

I believe there are exciting times ahead for us.
