Chilly weather? Come warm up at The 2nd Annual St. Nicholas Chili Supper on February 18 at 6pm.
Last year, the event was pulled together quickly in response to the huge amount of snow we received during the “Snowpocalypse.” Father Manny promises to use less chili powder this year!
It’ll be a night full of fun activities. There will be raffle prizes, door prizes, and plenty of food. New this year will be a 50/50 raffle which the proceeds will go to buy Easter hams for the St. Nicholas food pantry. This is a wonderful event and a great community builder. There is no admission cost but donations are appreciated.
With our Chili Supper date approaching fast (February 18), we are asking for community members to bring tables and chairs to the church to ensure that we have enough for the number of people we are expecting to attend this event this year. If you are able to loan the church some tables and/or chairs we ask that you place your name on the bottom along with contacting Jessica Tamaski (tamaskij@dupage.edu or 630-607-2258).
If you have new items that you would like to donate for the use of door/raffle prizes please also contact Jessica. If you would like to make a cash donation to help offset the costs of the Chili Supper please make checks payable to St. Nicholas and mark Chili Supper in the memo.
Thank you!
