The 2nd Annual St. Nicholas Chili Supper is a night full of fun activities. There will be raffle prizes, door prizes, and plenty of food. New this year will be a 50/50 raffle which the proceeds will go to buy Easter hams for the St. Nicholas food pantry. This is a wonderful event and a great community builder. There is no admission cost but donations are appreciated.

The St. Nicholas Annual Meeting will take place on Sunday, February 12, 2012, following the 10AM liturgy. If you are able, please bring a dish to share as we’ll also enjoy a potluck lunch.

All are most welcome and encouraged to attend this meeting where we’ll discuss our shared ministry for 2012 and our budget and finances. We’ll also elect lay leaders.

We never stop learning. There’s always some thing new to discover or perhaps ‘rediscover’ and appreciate in new lights and colors.

Fourteen of us gathered last Sunday for the beginning of Episcopal Church 101, led by Deacon Tom Smith.

We will continue this program this Sunday, December 4 after the 10am Liturgy. We’ll gather in the Noah’s Ark Room. Bring your coffee, snacks and an open mind and heart as we delve deeper into a better and more enlightened understanding of our Church and our role in this community of faith.
