Presiding Bishop’s Visit Feb 3 9AM

Mark your calendars! Break out the banners! It’s a very special visit to St Nicholas!

Presiding Bishop ++Katharine Jefferts Schori will preside and preach at a single 9am Eucharist service on Sunday, February 3rd for the Feast of the Transfiguration. We’ll have special food, special music, and special gifts… and we can’t guarantee that there will be seating for everyone, so come a bit earlier than usual or be prepared for standing room only.

All are welcome to St Nicholas on any given Sunday, or at any support group gathering, choir practice, or meeting. But everyone is most especially welcome on the big day, probably the most significant in the history of St Nicholas or of the former Holy Innocents since our founding. Come and find out what’s so special about the people of St Nicholas, and hear what ++Katharine has to say, both during the sermon and afterwards over a cup of coffee at Yummy Hour.

All are welcome to come and be with us Sunday, Feb 3 at 9am when Presiding Bishop ++Katharine Jefferts Schori will preside and preach at a single service for the Feast of the Transfiguration. We’ll have special food, special music, special gifts, and we know it will be an amazing Sunday.

Food Pantry For All 6PM-730PM 1st and 3rd Wednesdays

The Second Family supplemental food pantry is open every first and third Wednesday from 6pm to 730pm at St Nicholas. Anyone is welcome to come and take a few bags of groceries, with no residency requirement, and no waiting period.

The evening-hours pantry benefits those whose work schedules prevent them from visiting other area pantries.

St Nicholas welcomes all to donate bags of groceries via our well-known “doorknob” food drives; if you find a bag at your door, please fill it the following Sunday with non-perishables, leave it out where it can be seen, and we’ll pick it up. Thank you!
