Want A Ticket To Ride? On The Lawnmower?

Take a walk down Ridge Avenue and you’ll see how the lawns are so well cared for and manicured.  St. Nicholas’ lawns are certainly no exception.  No sir.

However, in order to keep our lawns looking fine and tended, we need the helping hands of our parish family.

If you can afford a few hours a week, enjoy the great outdoors and are comfortable with a riding and push mower…well then, do we have a proposal for you!

Consider spending those few hours by caring for the lawns here at our church.  And, consider the rewards…they are absolutely heavenly.

Mike Golden has already taken his ride and what a wonderful job he did.  Eason Williams has also put his hat in the ring and will help out, too.  So, who is next?

To Bob DeHaven, who admirably filled in and provided us music for our Sunday worship last week. Thanks, Bob!

To our Bishop’s Committee and the energy and drive shown at our meeting last Sunday…blessings to all for the amazing work.

To all who give so much of themselves in order to make St. Nicholas grow and thrive.

To Bob Kalicki and our good friend Gary Lackey who braved the tollways and brought back to St. Nicholas 2 vans full of food for the pantry. From all who benefit from our pantry and all of us at St. Nicholas…God bless you!

To Claudia Boyle who picked up this month’s supply of Jarosch’s baked goods…sweets delivered by a sweetheart!

To Hal and Steve for setting up the church for Palm Sunday…all looks lovely.

To Hank for putting up the old St. Bede’s Gate and wooden wall unit in the church entry way. It is all so beautiful, Hank!

To our Bishop’s Committee Members: Jessica Tamaski, Penny Mandziara, Kristen Jacobs, Thelma Malecek, Mike Golden, Neal Setchell, Bob Kalicki, Bob DeHaven, Steve Raftery and our treasurer Ray Malecek who all give 100% in their collective efforts at improving our church.

To Hank Mandziara and Bob DeHaven who continue moving forward working on the boiler situation and installation of the stained glass windows. Great work, guys.
